Who is Steve Randle?
Well where do I start? I'd like to think I am pretty good when it comes to taking a project or idea from concept to completion, but I have to say when it came to writing about myself for this page of my website I really did hit a blank!
I could start off by saying although a boy originally from the Black Country (my wife says I have a posh accent now though!) I now live in Worcestershire with my wife and three children.
After leaving school at 16 I became an apprentice within a small Kitchen and Bathroom Company based in Stourbridge. As a youngster I always enjoyed helping my Dad in the garage or shed repairing things, so it was only natural I suppose that this line of work and I would just click!
Steve started in bathroom installations during the early 1970s
I gained a keen interest in all areas of the Kitchen industry, and within time I was promoted into design and product sales.
After a decade I decided to relocate to the county of Dorset, where I fulfilled my dream of setting up my own business and showroom. During this time I was contracted to work on several major projects within large costal hotels, and my portfolio extended from Kitchens to Bedrooms and Bathroom installations.
Another 11 years passed when I was approached to run a completely new division as a Manager for a UK leading Kitchen company based in Cheltenham. The new offices excelled, winning numerous divisional awards thanks to the great team I worked with. After 5 more years I felt I urge to get back to where I felt most at home, and this was back in front of my customers, designing, developing and installing their dream Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms.
Since starting Steve Randle Installations, my work has not only taken me locally around Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Oxford, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, but as far afield as Suffolk, Kent and London. I recently fitted a bespoke kitchen on a fantastic River Boat in Chelsea Harbour. Over the years I have worked with some great trades people and built up a number of trusted contacts (some now friends) in most design trades. If I can't help I am pretty sure I know a man (or woman!) that can!
I truly love my work. Seeing the finished project and a happy customer makes the long days away worthwhile.
